JOB SUMMARY

An online e-commerce company seeks an experienced and highly qualified Market Research Analyst and Marketing Specialist with a background in analyzing consumer and market data, measuring campaign effectiveness, and supporting cross-functional teams with actionable market insights. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Market Research, Data Analytics, or a closely related field (foreign equivalence acceptable) and have a minimum 1 year of experience in utilizing analytical tools including Python, SQL, and Excel, to process sales data provided by online marketplaces and generate internal reports.

 

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret market and consumer data from e-commerce platforms to identify purchasing behaviors, emerging product trends, and new market opportunities;
  • Conduct competitor research by analyzing pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and sales channels to inform and support internal strategic planning;
  • Maintain a centralized market data database, ensuring ongoing data accuracy, accessibility, and quality improvements;
  • Leverage analytical tools such as Python, SQL, and STATA to process and interpret large datasets, and present insights in a clear, actionable format for business stakeholders;
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and branding strategies aimed at improving return on investment across various online sales channels;
  • Measure, track, and analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns using KPIs such as CTR, ROAS, conversion rates, and customer retention metrics; generate reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI;
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to produce opportunity assessments, identify prospective customer segments, and support business development;
  • Analyze shipping plans, carrier options, and warehousing solutions for cost-efficiency based on product characteristics, fulfillment timelines, and storage fees;
  • Coordinate with operations teams to optimize the order fulfillment process and ensure accurate SKU tracking and warehouse location assignment;
  • Assist in the integration, maintenance, and optimization of product listings across multiple online marketplaces, ensuring accuracy throughout the pre- and post-launch process.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To apply for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Market Research, Data Analytics, or a closely related field (foreign equivalence acceptable);
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in utilizing analytical tools including Python, SQL, and Excel, to process sales data provided by online marketplaces and generate internal reports;
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market research, developing market analysis reports, collecting and analyzing consumer and competitor data across e-commerce platforms;
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI to present performance insights and KPIs;
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and logistics platforms including Shopify, Mirakl, Shipstation, Veeqo, Amazon AWD, SellerCentral, and VendorCentral;
  • Demonstrated ability to measure and interpret key digital campaign metrics, including CTR, ROAS, conversion rates, and customer retention rates;
  • Experience developing marketing and branding strategies to improve sales performance across online marketplaces;
  • Familiarity with logistics and operations coordination, including evaluating shipping costs, warehousing options, and collaborating with operations teams on order fulfillment;
  • Experience maintaining internal product listing databases, supporting SKU tracking, and integrating multi-platform e-commerce systems;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with web, IT, marketing, and operations teams;
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
